Landscaping in Indian Land, Fort Mill & the surrounding towns

Rooted Landscaping is based at 135 Halifax Dr in Indian Land, SC. Here are the communities we serve week in and week out.

Rooted in Indian Land

Indian Land sits in the northern tip of Lancaster County, right where South Carolina meets the Charlotte metro. It’s one of the fastest-growing corridors in the Carolinas, and most of the yards here started life as farmland or freshly graded construction lots. That means compacted red clay, thin topsoil and drainage that wasn’t designed with a garden in mind. We build for those conditions instead of fighting them — amended beds, plants chosen for Carolina heat and humidity, and grading that sends water where it belongs.

Just north, Fort Mill and Tega Cay bring their own character: older shade trees, rolling lots near the Catawba River, and neighborhoods with real standards for how a property should look. Down through Rock Hill and greater York County you’ll find everything from small residential yards to commercial campuses and HOA common areas. Each one gets the same approach — a clear scope, a consistent crew and work that still looks good three seasons later.

We also cross the state line regularly for Waxhaw, Weddington, Marvin, Pineville and Ballantyne. Being close matters. It means we can get to you quickly for an estimate, keep recurring visits on a reliable schedule, and swing back if something needs attention. If you’re near any of the towns below, we’d be glad to take a look at your property.

Indian Land, SC

Our home base. From Sun City Carolina Lakes to Walnut Creek, Bridgemill and the newer builds off Highway 521, we know how fast this stretch of Lancaster County has grown — and how much of it sits on heavy red clay that needs the right soil prep before anything thrives.

Fort Mill, SC

Established neighborhoods with mature trees and tight HOA standards. We handle crisp weekly cuts, seasonal color, mulch refreshes and hardscape builds that hold up to Fort Mill's clay soil and summer downpours.

Tega Cay & Lake Wylie, SC

Sloped, lakeside lots that need smart drainage and erosion control. Retaining walls, planted beds and low-maintenance designs that keep the yard looking sharp without constant upkeep.

Rock Hill & York County, SC

Residential and commercial properties across York County — full landscape installs, recurring maintenance routes and mulch and planting programs on a schedule you can count on.

Lancaster & Van Wyck, SC

Larger lots and rural properties where lawn care, planting and clean-up work make the biggest difference. We're a short drive away and show up when we say we will.
